Volleyball Austin was founded in March 2012 as Austin's only gay-affiliated volleyball league.  Our mission is to offer the Central Texas lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community and our straight allies the opportunity to experience and enjoy volleyball in an inclusive and affirming environment.

Volleyball Austin was created to provide a welcoming environment to all LGBT individuals who are interested in playing volleyball, building friendships, and giving back to Austin's community.  Volleyball Austin promotes an athletic environment free of discrimination and harassment.   LGBT-friendly volleyball players are encouraged to play as well.   Beginners are always welcome!
